I’m a Finalist!

I’m thrilled to share that my short story “Millie and Loretta at the Desert Oasis” is one of twelve short stories accepted for the Historical Novel Society North America‘s first conference anthology!!!!

Whoo-hoo! It’s so exciting to have a short story I’ve written and love resonate with readers!

Even more Whoo-hoo, I’m a finalist for the contest’s Grand Prize, which is announced on February 7th!

Thanks to the judges, to the conference organizing committee, and to the worker bees behind the anthology. I was unable to attend the last conference because of my chemo schedule, and am really looking forward to the upcoming conference in Las Vegas this June!

I hope to see some of you fellow historical fiction readers and writers at the Conference!
